Maintenance in a Lean & TPM Environment
This workshop focuses on how to maintenance fits into your Lean Journey. It will help you understand the importance of the reliability of equipment to the Lean Journey and how to free up your Maintenance Resources in order to support and sustain your Improvement Activities

If TPM is implemented, then Maintenance need to take on the new responsibility of training and supporting operators in equipment care and training for inspection activities.

A framework and pathway will be provided to allow maintenance to re-invent itself as a critical pro-active support function capable of delivering maintenance practices that will support your Lean Journey.


By the end of this workshop you will be able to:

• Understanding the importance of reliability of equipment to the Lean Journey and the challenges to address
• Understand the Lean & TPM activities that Maintenance will need to support, and the implication for maintenance resources
• Understand the impact of training operators to carry out detailed equipment inspections
• Benchmark your maintenance capability and understand the sequence of activities required to transform Maintenance so you can support Lean at your site
