Dave, who is Auckland based, has over 30 years of engineering, manufacturing and operational management experience, as well as running his own successful business specialising in the design, development and build of packaging equipment. He has extensive experience in strategic, operations, financial and general management which gives him a significant & broad background.
Whilst running a commercial explosive / accessory company, Dave was selected to participate in a new manufacturing leadership program at Cambridge University in the UK. With an emphasis was on world class manufacturing processes and techniques, he moved into the production / operations role running a large chemical complex in South Africa. He immigrated to New Zealand in 2003 where he spent 4 years working in the engineering / manufacturing / operations arena of a large electronic manufacturing organisation.
Since joining CTPM in February 2008, Dave has been assisting New Zealand Sugar, Hynds Pipe Systems, Dexion, Cedenco, OPAC and MARS Petcare on their Lean & TPM (TPM3) Journeys.
